arrow About Conference
The 2008 Conference will once again take place at the state of the art facility of the Mohegan Sun Convention Center. This elaborate space allows for our profession to securely state its position in the statewide playing field. Mohegan Sun allows us to bring the opportunity for park and recreation professionals to network, and learn about innovations in the field, in one of the largest exhibit halls in New England. The extended exhibit hall provides an opportunity for sales, consultation, and to sample a breadth of variety that the profession has to offer. Come and be part of this experience that will be sure to broaden your thinking.

arrow Location
Located just steps from the Uncas Ballroom are 19 flexible and strikingly designed individual meeting rooms, accommodating from 16 to 240 people. Each meeting room complements the spirit of the Mohegan Sun design scheme which is rich in color and prominent in quality. This space also includes an impressive executive board room, while most rooms provide 10 foot ceilings, drop down LCD projectors and screens. All rooms offer high speed internet ready access and individual lighting controls. You will also find 4,922 square feet of exquisite pre-function space preceding these meeting rooms, allowing for a wonderful atmosphere for networking, small impromptu gatherings, registration, or food and beverage service. Shinnecock, Nipmuc and Nehantic are just a few of the names of our meeting rooms, representing the remembrance of the lost Native American Tribes of the Northeast region of the United States.
