Special Interest Sections

These Special Interset Sections are available to you! Sections or Branches allow for you to network with other park and recreation professionals with similar focuses.

Parks & Recreation Section consists primarily of municipal park and recreation administrators and supervisory personnel, whose purpose is to promote, enhance and develop public park and recreation services, programs and facilities in Connecticut.

Therapeutic Recreation Section, whose purpose is to organize all levels of therapeutic recreation personnel for the purpose of promoting, improving and developing recreation service to people with physical, mental, social and emotional functioning disabilities.


Park Maintenance

Citizen Board Members Section is dedicated to the strengthening and expansion of the status, role and effectiveness of all volunteer recreation and park boards and commissions, for the accomplishment of greater public service.

Aquatics Section is designed for those aquatics professionals concerned with the development of aquatics programs and facilities in the state.

Hershey National Track & Field Youth Program is a playground program designed to introduce children ages 9-14 to physical fitness through basic track and field events. It emphasizes participation, friendship and sportsmanship. CRPA is the official state sponsor of the Hershey program.
